Here i have created my own mock up, pop magazine using a current magazine masthead 'Top of the pops'. I decided to go with a girly colour scheme of pinks, purples and oranges. i did this because the magazine is designed more for younger girls so i am trying to connect with this audience. Following the codes and conventions of a magazine i included a barcode, dateline, celebrity endorsement, many coverlines, a puff, a pug etc. With out some of these aspects the magazine would not look as real as it could look un-realistic.
